Our Gold Thread Collection is a slightly softer cloth than our 3 Red Lines using Super 100's Wool instead of Super 80's giving the wearer a more luxurious feel yet retaining all the inherent sturdiness built in an English Cloth. It Comprises 3 Qualities, a Spring/Summer Tropical Weave in a Clear Cut Finish, an Autumn/Winter 2x2 Twill Weave in a Clear Cut and a Semi-Milled Finish.

Since the 1960's Hield has pioneered the semi-milled finish which is an art that raises the wool hairs slightly to give a feel and look which is delicately balanced between a Clear Cut and a Flannel finish. Very Hield. Very British
